Mavericks Burger Co joined the Toronto Waterfront in the fall of 2021, and is establishing its mark in the best way. The restaurant was started by owner Darryl Neate, who was inspired to fill a gap in the market to make plant-based burgers from a place that people could trust. He wanted to create a space that celebrates plant-based options, instead of hiding them at the side of a menu. As old notions of plant-based food are being dispelled, Darryl strives to keep Mavericks Burger Co at the forefront of this change by making the tastiest, most sustainable meal with its unique and completely plant-based menu.

From the new Oktoberfest Sausage to their Nashville Heat Chicken Sliders, there’s something for every taste.

The most popular item is the 6ix Burger, which features the signature patty topped with savoury BBQ sauce, crispy onion rings, and gooey cheese. For the ideal pairing, patrons can order their 6ix burger with its most popular friend, the loaded Pickle-Dilly waffle fries, which combine the perfect amount of crunchy pickles, and zesty garlic mayo. When it comes to beverages, Mavericks Burger Co does not disappoint. They serve an assortment of drinks, including their specialty iced drinks like The Chocolate Lover, which combines chocolaty goodness with coconut whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top, and the Blueberry-Peach Chill.
