What’s Happening on The Waterfront

Vote in support of Waterfront BIA expansion

The Waterfront BIA is moving to the second and final vote to expand its boundaries eastward (Expansion map). All commercial and non-residential property owners and business tenants are eligible to vote before October 20, 2020. More information can be found at the City Clerk’s site (poll-code: PBIA 2020-064). Contact our BIA directly if you have questions about the benefits and services we will be expanding eastward (Tim Kocur, Executive Director, tkocur@waterfrontbia.com)

The Waterfront's Artist in Residency

Black Speculative Arts Movement Canada (BSAM Canada) was selected for the first-ever Waterfront Artist Residency Program. The 16-month residency was created and made possible through a partnership between Waterfront Toronto and The Waterfront BIA, with the aim to create meaningful, experiential encounters with the community, activate under-utilized spaces along the lakefront and draw new audiences to the waterfront.
