Pride At Toronto’s Waterfront

It’s pride month which means the city of Toronto is bustling with activities and events supporting the 2SLGBTQ+- including the waterfront!

Hanlan’s Point – Toronto Islands

The first organized pride celebration began as a picnic in 1971 on the Toronto Islands at Hanlan’s Point Beach. This official pride picnic gave birth to the iconic Pride Parade we now know today, which attracts millions of attendees every year from all over the world.

The Bentway – Love On Top

The Bentway’s Love on Top is back this summer, bigger than ever! They can’t wait to celebrate with you at their daytime, outdoor, love fest this Pride Saturday! This year features the talented house music DJ and producer from Atlanta,  Ash Lauryn.

Glitterbox at Sugarland

The second annual SugarLand Festival is partnering with Glitter Box (UK), who are an extension to the prodigious international record label and event producer Defected. Glitterbox’s mission is to generate an inclusive uplifting party atmosphere designed to unite all genders, persuasions, and walks of life on the dance floor.

The annual celebration of love, equality, and acceptance that brings all genders, race and persuasions together to celebrate Toronto’s diversity. The festival features two days of non-stop music, art, and entertainment.

    • Location: 11 Dockside Dr.

TISUP Lily Paddle

Join TISUP for what could very well be the first on-water pride parade in Toronto. Dress up, have fun and make some noise with us while we learn about the rich history of LGBTQ2SAI+ at the Toronto Islands! Bookings must be completed a minimum of 24 hours before start time if there are no registered guests and 30 minutes if there are registered guests.

Please bring swimsuit, towel, water, sunscreen, lunch, and note taking materials. Instructor, paddle boards, leash, paddle, PDF, and a dry bag for valuables are all included!

Pride Market

RBC is proud to support 2SLGBTQ+ clients, employees, communities, and small businesses. The pride market will feature different art, craft, and food vendors. Come check out the RBC Pride Market and celebrate together
