Slow down and reconnect with the waterfront during River Resonances, an immersive soundwalk led by Toronto-based artist Treva Legassie.
As part of the Lassonde Art Trail’s Wellbeing Walks series, this guided experience invites participants to explore Biidaasige Park through their sound and the senses.
Along the walk, participants will use a series of listening prompts created for the Lassonde Art Trail to tune into the park’s sounds and discover the changing story of its landscape, from wetlands and industrial development to its revitalized present-day setting.
The experience offers a chance to step away from the visual and pay closer attention to the sounds, rhythms and natural environment around you.
Participants will also receive postcards featuring the listening prompts, which can be shared with someone special after the walk.
