Toronto's favourite all-night contemporary arts festival is back!

Nuit Blanche is returning to Toronto on October 4! From 7 PM to 7 AM, locals and visitors can explore the city completely transformed by artists.

Nuit Blanche Toronto is one of North America’s award-winning contemporary art events and has been around since 2006.

Nuit Blanche is completely free and available to the entire public. Each year, Nuit Blanche has a theme, guiding the artists under an umbrella.

This year’s theme is ‘Translating the City’, inspiring artists to translate the complexities of cities, and reimagine the possibilities a city can hold.

Toronto’s waterfront will feature 3 different art installations that can be visited and explored:

Large Scale Projection - Canada Malting Silo

From sunset to sunrise, experience a mesmerizing public art projection on the iconic Canada Malting Silo.

Watch as the building comes alive with a dancer rippling across the Malting Silos as music, memory, and motion all come together in one transformative force.

Documentary Screening: A Lake Story

Following the epic canoe procession by artist Melissa McGill presented as part of Water/Fall Festival, see the film installation documenting the memorable performance of colour, sky, water, and movement.

The story begins by the water, from gathering materials along the Lake Ontario shoreline to the collective movement of over one hundred canoes. The wind-activated works themselves will be on-site, allowing you a chance to get a closer look.

The Bentway: "Declaration of the Understory"

"Declaration of the Understory" is a series of art installations which transform the space under the Gardiner Expressway into an imagined urban forest.

The artwork, inspired by Indigenous knowledge and environmental conservation, uses vibrant floral imagery of a shade-loving wildflower to show how nature can reclaim urban spaces.

Union Station Art Crawl

Don't miss out on Union Station during Nuit Blanche as it becomes a must-see destination for stunning art installations, an exciting lineup of live music and DJ sets, tasty food, and extended hours for shopping.

Located all throughout the station, this late night art crawl is one you won't want to miss.
