La Abuela Mexican Street Food

Waterfront Artisan Market Vendor – La Abuela Mexican Street Food

The dream of Gerardo & Ivonne Borbolla, founders of La Abuela Mexican Street Food, was to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to the streets in Canada. They started small and simple, creating Mexican dishes like burritos and flautas to sell at the farmer’s market.

Their delicious Mexican street food is comprised of authentic dishes, made with carefully-selected Ontario Pork Chorizos. Drop in for a visit at the 2017 Waterfront Artisan Market!

The Waterfront Artisan Market (WAM), presented by The Waterfront BIA and operated by Scadding Court Community Centre, brings together a carefully curated mix of artisans, crafters, chefs and bakers. Discover local craft and food at a unique, open-air market on Toronto’s Waterfront.

WAM will take place at HTO Park weekly, Saturdays from 11 am to 8 pm, May 20 to October 7*.

*The Waterfront Artisan Market will be extended on Canada Day Weekend (July 1 – 3) as part of the Redpath Waterfront Festival. Due to pre-scheduled events taking place in HTO Park, the Waterfront Artisan Market will not take place on June 3 and September 9.
