You know how renovations go – they tell you it’ll take three months, and six months later you’re still living in your mother-in-law’s basement. The important thing is that the folks at Loch & Quay are extremely excited to meet the residents and friends of the Waterfront community.
Loch & Quay will be opening this month! In the meantime, we thought it would be nice for you to meet the mad scientists working tirelessly on their bad@$$ menu.
Chef Devan Rajkumar has not only showcased his talents on television, at live events, on the Internet and in the kitchens of some of the finest restaurants, he’s also travelled the world spreading his joy and passion for food among thousands of satisfied foodies. What can’t this guy do? You’re probably tired just reading about him. His passion is only surpassed by reputation and professionalism. Chef Rajkumar is excited to bring this experience to L&Q, and incorporate a few extra tricks he’s got up his sleeve.
Chef Terry Port has over two decades of experience creating world-famous pastries for clients ranging from a three star Michelin restaurant, to the corporate kitchens of Rogers and RBC Canada. But don’t think this guy is all croissants and macaroons. He’s a multi-faceted, tough cookie that’s a certified Pastry Chef and Certified Chef de Cuisine (C.C.C. designation). If that isn’t enough, he’s also an Ontario Certified Teacher and has taught hospitality in secondary and post-secondary schools. Loch & Quay can’t wait to see what he’s going to teach our taste buds.
