The Piazza Manna concept began in 1982 as Pizza Manna at the 1st Canadian Place in Downtown Toronto, Canada. However, the ideas and recipes began in the 1940’s and 50’s as the Manna Family immigrated to Canada from the South of Italy. Patriarch, Paul Manna began working in Toronto’s very first pizzerias as a boy not knowing that this was his true education. In the 60’s he founded Milano’s Pizzeria a mainstay in the Westend of Toronto. From this Piazza Manna would be born.Even today our food develops from our family kitchen and many years of experience and makes its way to our restaurant counters. This is Italian food at its best with the influence of the immigrant experience. Whether it is in the comfortable environment of our larger Piazza Manna’s or a quick bite at one of our food court counters, we strive to give our customers a taste of Italian Home cooking. We only use the same ingredients as we would use at home and offer this to our customers at a reasonable price with honest service as if Nonna her self was taking the care.
