Inspired by the power of repetition, embodied in the snow ake structure, WINTER DIAMONDS are something beautiful emerging from the dark. A playful shape resonating light, and different from every angle, yet built of one simple module. Like a traditional hearth of old, the Winter Diamonds draw you to their light and provide an area where conversation is inspired. Like a log fire, the Winter Diamonds can be stacked together to create an overall effect that is greater than the sum of its individual parts.
Artist Bio: Based in Denmark, Platant is a design and artistic consultancy that specialises in strategic urban development. Their own artwork focuses on lights and will offer a sophisticated/ contemporary compliment to the festival of lights that is taking place in the adjacent Music Garden.
